Job summary

RaceTrac is seeking a General Manager to lead a high-volume store, oversee up to 45 employees, and drive profitability while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

You will recruit, train, and mentor staff, analyze sales and labor data, implement marketing and operational plans, and ensure safety and quality standards across the store. The role offers growth from within and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of retail, food service, or restaurant management experience (high-volume preferred)
• Strong leadership, coaching and team-building skills
• Ability to analyze business metrics and make data-driven decisions
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial reporting
• Knowledge of labor laws and staffing best practices

Responsibilities

• Foster a guest-obsessed culture and mentor team members
• Recruit, train, and mentor staff for growth opportunities
• Provide continuous feedback, coaching, and performance management
• Create a positive work environment where team members feel valued
• Execute operational plans to meet sales, labor, and profitability goals
• Monitor inventory, cash handling, and store expenses to optimize financial results
• Lead by example in safety and sanitation standards

• Develop and maintain vendor relationships and ensure timely deliveries
• Drive store performance through data-driven decision making
