Job summary

USD 259 is seeking a Para Sped High Incidence to assist teachers with instruction, behavior support, and classroom management. You will help supervise students, implement behavior plans, and facilitate technology in lessons to promote engagement and safety.

The role requires high school completion and coursework credits; the successful candidate will collaborate with staff and parents to support student growth and inclusive education.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Paras working in a Title School must have a minimum of 48 accredited college credits verifiable with a transcript or pass a state approved assessment.
• Ability to communicate both verbally and written with students, staff and families.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students in class as directed by the teacher.
• Assist in implementing student behavior plans and managing routines.
• Assist with classroom setup and the integration of technology.
• Provide individual or group instruction under teacher supervision.
• Support students during transitions and transportation as needed.
