Job summary

Taleo is seeking a Para Sped High Incidence paraeducator to support a special education classroom for the 2026-2027 school year. You will assist the teacher with instructional activities, behavior management, and student supervision in alignment with IEP goals.

Responsibilities include ensuring classroom safety, coordinating with support staff and families, and helping with technology integration and documentation. A proactive, patient approach is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• At least 48 college credits verifiable with transcript for Paras positions.
• Some roles may require knowledge of sign language modalities, Braille, or NCI.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students in class per teacher directions.
• Assist in managing classroom routines and procedures.
• Support in interventions to redirect behavior and document occurrences.
• Assist with student transportation between areas and on/off campus.
• Aid in implementing student behavior plans and IEPs.
• Assist in using technology and ensuring classroom setup for instruction.
• Communicate with students, parents, and staff as directed by administrator.
