Job summary

Burkey Real Estate in Granger, IN seeks a motivated buyer’s agent to generate qualified leads, assess buyer needs, and guide clients from showings to closing. You’ll manage the pipeline, follow up diligently, and contribute to a growing sales book.

Responsibilities include showing homes, educating buyers on neighborhoods and financing, hosting two Saturday open houses per month, and crafting competitive offers. Indiana license required (Michigan or in process) with valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Licensed in Indiana (and Michigan or in process) and have a valid U.S. driver’s license.
• 1+ year in residential sales or proven quota-carrying success.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to follow scripts, handle objections, and participate in weekly training.

Responsibilities

• Work the pipeline daily: speed-to-lead, call/text/email follow-up, and nurturing in CRM.
• Show and advise: schedule showings, educate buyers on neighborhoods, comps, financing, and offer strategy.
• Convert at events: host two Saturday open houses per month; drive traffic and appointments.
• Write and win offers: craft competitive offers, negotiate, guide buyers through inspections to close.
• Market yourself & your book: prospect your SOI, past leads, and local spheres to create new demand.
• Be accountable: hit weekly conversations, appointments, contracts, and goals; track everything.
• Be the main contact between buyer and seller to ensure a successful sale.
• Seek out potential homebuyers and provide them with information on properties meeting their needs and budget.
• Create documents such as contracts, purchase agreements, closing statements, deeds, and leases.
• Have open houses to build relationships with prospective homebuyers and introduce them to the local market.
