Job summary

Morgan & Morgan is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Trial Attorney for its Raleigh office. You will handle a heavy and complex caseload from pre-litigation through trial, including motor vehicle and premises liability matters.

The firm offers a generous compensation package with base salary, guaranteed commission, uncapped bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits plan. You will work with a large case staff, including a dedicated paralegal and legal assistant, and join a national firm

Qualifications

Law degree (J.D. / JD / Juris Doctor) from a fully accredited law school.
Active member in good standing with the State Bar Association (NC required).
Minimum 3+ years of personal injury / premises liability experience.
Ability to manage high volume of pre-lit and litigation cases.
Excellent client service and communication skills.
Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

Day-to-day handling of both pre-litigation and litigation cases.
Drafting and filing of litigation documents to include pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions and memoranda of law.
Guide plaintiff clients through the case process.
Interaction with expert witnesses to include conferences, drafting of expert reports and affidavits.
Attendance and preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.
