Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Modeling Simulation and Analysis Systems Engineer for our Baltimore, MD site. The role requires 100% on-site work and a Secret clearance.

You will perform performance-focused modeling and simulation on HPC grids, evaluate system behavior, and generate technical documentation and mission analysis products. Candidates should have a STEM degree with experience in MATLAB/STK, Python, and C/C++, plus knowledge of AFSIM or Brawler.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required.
• Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance.
• Ability to obtain SAP access.
• Experience with modeling, simulation, analysis using MATLAB/STK or similar.
• Proficient in Python and C/C++, with Linux/Windows scripting.

Responsibilities

• Perform performance-focused modeling and simulation to evaluate system behavior and conduct trade studies.
• Support software integration, radar mode validation, CONEMPS/CONOPS/DRM evaluations.
• Verify interfaces and data flows across system elements for mission execution.
• Develop and improve performance models, simulation frameworks, and analysis tools.
• Produce technical materials for internal/external briefings and reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to diagnose performance issues and propose design changes.
