Job summary

Hatalom is seeking a Medical Simulators Instructor/Operator to train Soldiers in classroom and field settings at Fort Wainwright, AK. You will use high‑fidelity simulations to validate critical thinking and psychomotor skills across EMT/NREMT levels, including 68W and paramedic trajectories.

You will develop training materials, lead AARs, and maintain equipment and PMCS. A strong background in medical training and military procedures is essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold current NREMT EMT or higher.
• Former 68W/18D ALC graduate or equivalent credential.
• Current RN/PA/Physician license or similar certification.
• Maintain BLS-HCP certification.
• Complete TC 8‑800 instructor course or Army AMEDD equivalent.
• Able to understand course material and present it clearly.
• Familiar with computers and MS Office suite.
• US citizen eligible for Contractor CAC.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and maintain Training Support Packages and lesson plans.
• Support training event planning, execution, evaluation, and AAR prep.
• Instruct and support training on new battlefield medical procedures and equipment.
• Utilize medical simulation systems and virtual training platforms.
• Ensure training courses address all levels of students.
• Instruct, demonstrate skills and test Soldiers across EMT/NREMT levels.
• Assist in equipment preparation and cleanup; manage PMCS.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information; work in a team or independently.
