Job summary

The Aaron's Company, Inc. in Austin, TX is hiring a Sales Associate to help customers find what they need and drive sales on the showroom floor. You’ll engage with customers, keep the store organized, and participate in a team that values initiative and friendly service.

The role offers an hourly wage of $14–$15, plus performance-based incentive pay. Training and safe handling of merchandise are provided to help you succeed and grow with Aaron’s.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to work a schedule of hours varying from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. on your own and up to 300 lbs. assisted with appropriate equipment and/or another associate.

Responsibilities

• Help customers select their new products.
• Assist with cleaning, organizing and moving merchandise.
• Perform clerical duties, including creating and maintaining customer files.
• Maintain a positive sales floor environment.
• Assist customers and potential customers in person and on the telephone.
