Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a positive, high-energy Server to join our Asheville team. You’ll greet guests, guide them through the menu with genuine enthusiasm, and help maintain a fast, friendly pace during busy shifts.

Flexible availability for evenings and weekends is required; you should be comfortable standing long periods and able to lift up to 25 lbs. Prior serving experience helps, but the right attitude matters most.

Qualifications

• A genuinely warm, high-energy personality, this matters more than years of experience.
• Serving experience is a plus, but we'll train the right attitude.
• Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
• Available evenings and weekends, that's when the magic happens.
• Able to be on your feet for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Must meet the legal age requirement to serve alcohol.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and set the tone the second they sit down.
• Walk people through the drink and food menu with real enthusiasm, not a script.
• Take and deliver orders accurately, and keep the pace moving during the rush.
• Suggest add-ons and specials in a way that feels helpful, not pushy.
• Keep tables, the bar area, and your section clean and guest-ready.
• Work closely with the kitchen and bar team to keep timing tight.
• Handle payments and closeouts accurately.
• Jump in wherever the team needs a hand, this crew moves together.
