Job summary

Embassy Suites Asheville Downtown is seeking a friendly Restaurant Server to greet guests, take orders, and ensure a memorable dining experience. The role emphasizes teamwork, accuracy in service, and attentive guest care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of restaurant serving experience.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stay calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and create a welcoming dining experience.
• Present menus, take accurate orders, and provide tailored recommendations.
• Serve food and beverages promptly with accuracy.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and address requests.
• Respond to guest inquiries about menu items and dietary needs.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Clear and reset tables and maintain cleanliness.
• Handle guest feedback professionally and escalate to management as needed.
• Assist with opening and closing duties and dining area setup.
