Qualifications

• 0–1 year of experience in personal training, small group training and/or group fitness training.
• NCCA-accredited Personal Training or Group Fitness Certification.
• Current CPR/AED Certification.
• Specialty formats (Zumba, Les Mills, HIGH Fitness).
• Yoga Certification (200 or 500 Hour RYT).
• Cycle Certifications (Schwinn, Spinning, Beatboss, AFAA Indoor Cycling).
• Passionate about fitness, changing lives and helping others reach goals.
• Energetic, positive attitude.
• Experience in leading, communicating, coaching or performing in front of a group.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional fitness experience in every class, upholding UPLIFT values.
• Ensure Vasa Uplift Member Experience (VUME) in each class.
• Be punctual and prepared; greet members at the door on time.
• Safely demonstrate exercises and monitor class performance.
• Post-class cleaning, sanitizing and organization for a safe, bright space.
• Be approachable, professional, and engage with members; respond to needs.
• Teach safe, effective classes with options for different fitness levels.
• Create an inspiring, energetic, inclusive community within classes.
• Actively promote classes to retain and invite new participants.
