Job summary

VASA Fitness is seeking a Group Fitness Instructor to lead high-energy group classes and uplift members with supportive coaching. This role emphasizes safety, clear communication, and a welcoming class environment aimed at all fitness levels.

Qualified candidates should hold CPR/AED and a recognized Group Fitness certification, with additional Yoga or cycle certifications preferred. The position is based at our Lafayette, IN facility and includes healthcare benefits and gym memberships.

Qualifications

• CPR/AED certification current.
• NCCA-accredited PT/Group Fitness certification required.
• Yoga certification (200 or 500 hour) required.
• Cycle certifications encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-energy, engaging group fitness classes.
• Ensure member experience aligns with UPLIFT values.
• Be punctual, prepared, greet members on arrival.
• Demonstrate safe, effective movements and monitor proper form.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized class space after sessions.
• Respond promptly to member needs and concerns with professional service.
• Communicate clearly and offer options for different fitness levels.
• Create an inclusive, fun, and energetic class community.

Education

CPR/AED Certification

NCCA-accredited Personal Training or Group Fitness Certification

Yoga Certification (200/500 Hour)

Cycle Certifications (Schwinn/Spinning/AFAA etc.)
