VASA Fitness in Lafayette, IN is seeking a Group Fitness Instructor to lead high-energy classes, motivate members, and foster an uplifting, inclusive studio culture.

This hourly, non-exempt role requires current certifications (NCCA-accredited PT or group fitness, CPR/AED, and format-specific credentials). Pay ranges $21-$28 per hour, DOE, with benefits like health coverage, gym memberships, and a 401k for qualifying staff.

Qualifications

• 0-1 year of experience in personal or group fitness training.
• NCCA-accredited Personal Training or Group Fitness Certification required.
• CPR/AED certification required.
• Yoga or Cycle certifications preferred.
• Must be willing to travel locally for training if needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead energetic group fitness classes to meet the objectives and cadence of each format.
• Ensure member safety by guiding proper form and transitions.
• Promote class participation, retention, and positive studio culture.
• Maintain clean, organized studio before and after classes; assist with setup/teardown.
• Represent VASA Fitness in a professional, upbeat manner and provide excellent customer service.
