Job summary

VASA Fitness is seeking a Group Fitness Instructor (GFI) to lead high-energy group classes and deliver an exceptional member experience. The role offers hourly pay ranging from $21.00 to $28.00, plus potential commissions, with pay for preparation time and class time beyond 60 minutes may apply.

Qualifications

• 0–1 year of experience in group fitness or personal training.
• Certification from an NCCA-accredited program for training formats.
• Current CPR/AED certification required.
• Yoga and/or cycling certifications are preferred.
• Promotes an upbeat, high-energy workout environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging and safe group fitness classes to members.
• Motivate and uplift participants during sessions.
• Ensure the studio is prepared, clean and welcoming.
• Promote additional classes to retain and attract new participants.
• Communicate clearly with members and staff to deliver great experiences.
