Job summary

VASA Fitness in Cedar Rapids, IA is hiring a Group Fitness Instructor to energize and guide members through dynamic group classes. You will lead sessions with high energy, ensuring safety and inclusivity for participants of all levels.

Training begins in September as the club opens, offering growth within a vibrant, united team. The position is hourly, non-exempt, with compensation ranging from $21.00 to $28.00 per hour DOE.

Qualifications

• 0–1 year of experience in personal training, small group training or group fitness.
• Current CPR/AED certification.
• NCCA-accredited Personal Training or Group Fitness Certification.
• Yoga or cycle certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Consistently provide an exceptional fitness experience to Studio members by upholding the UPLIFT core values.
• Be punctual and prepared, greet members at the door on time.
• Demonstrate exercises safely and monitor class performance.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming class environment.
