Job summary

Gilley’s in PARK CITY, KS is seeking a friendly bartender to prepare and serve cocktails and beverages to guests and servers with an upbeat attitude. You will help maintain bar cleanliness, verify IDs, and balance cash while delivering excellent guest service.

The role requires adapting to a fast-paced environment, excellent communication, and flexibility to work nights and weekends. Previous bar experience and knowledge of ABC laws are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a high-volume bar/restaurant.
• Knowledge of current ABC laws.
• Competent in using computer programs.
• High school diploma or equivalent, required.
• 1 year of direct customer contact experience preferred.
• Previous money handling experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional appearance as outlined in the Gilley’s Team Member Handbook.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Availability for nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Mix and serve beverages to guests and cocktail servers.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and stock (glasses, garnishes, utensils).
• Identify patrons under 30 and ensure compliance.
• Prepare traditional and creative cocktails.
• Handle high-volume guest interactions with a positive attitude.
• Take and deliver food orders to bar guests.
• Record and balance cash receipts; prepare cash transfers.
• Build guest relations and ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
• Observe activity and assist guests as needed.
• Resolve guest disputes per policy and escalate when needed.
• Assist in other F&B areas as needed.
