Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and able to obtain KRGC Gaming License.
• Knowledge of kitchen sanitation, operations, and maintenance of kitchen equipment
• Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques
• One year of direct customer contact experience, preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide fast and clean servicing of all menu items and ensure orders are uniform and consistent
• Control food production, proper cooking methods, times, temperatures; ensure sanitation and storage of food
• Greet guests and handle payments at a POS; provide accurate change when needed
• Deliver food items to guests and assist in high-volume peak periods
• Prepare items from standardized recipes and cross-train in other F&B areas as needed
• Maintain a guest-friendly environment; resolve routine guest complaints

Job Location: PARK CITY, KS 67147. Position Type: Full-Time/Part-Time. Education Level: Not Specified. Travel Percentage: None.

Job Summary: Provide internal and external guest service while preparing all food and drink orders in a quick and timely manner; completes payment transactions efficiently and accurately when working in assigned outlets.

Essential Job Functions

• Responsible for fast and clean servicing of all menu items to the guests and ensures each order sent out is uniform and consistent
• Controls food production to include proper cooking methods, cooking time and temperature and ensures sanitation, handling and storage of prepared food and leftovers
• Greets and completes payment transactions for guest orders while working in assigned outlets on a POS (point of sale) system, accepts payment and (when applicable) accurately gives change back to guest
• Delivers food items to guests
• Adequately prepares for known peak business levels and effectively maintains a high level of guest service
• Prepares all food items from standardized recipes when working in assigned outlets
• If 21, performs the duties of a Bartender or Barback as needed
• Performs the duties of a Beverage Server, Food Server, or Cashier/Host as needed
• Performs all the duties of a Server Assistant, Food Expediter, Steward or Cook in the outlets as needed
• Must be able to deal with high volume customer interactions and be consistently outgoing, upbeat and cheerful
• Builds guest relations throughout every shift by talking with customers and making them feel welcome, comfortable, and inviting them back
• Observes all activity within assigned area offering assistance to all guests
• Observes activity and reports anything that is out of the ordinary
• Capable of handling routine customer complaints and incidents and exhibits the appropriate discretion to identify situations that require the attention of management personnel; effort is given to resolve all situations in a manner that maintains positive guest relationships
• Ensures all guests are kept in play by providing friendly and helpful service at all interactions
• Utilizes open body language, politely speaks with and assists guests as needed
• Assists in maintaining a spotless facility by disposing of any cups, glasses or bottles left by guests
• Maintains monetary and paperwork accuracy and efficiency within department/property standards
• Adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner and encourages others to do the same
• Empowered to resolve guest disputes quickly and efficiently up to a pre-determined amount. Otherwise, ensuring a manager is notified immediately to resolve the situation.

Qualifications: Experience and Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older and have the ability to obtain and retain KRGC Gaming License.
• Knowledge of kitchen sanitation, operations, and maintenance of kitchen equipment
• Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques
• One year of direct customer contact experience, preferred
• Previous money handling experience preferred
• Display professionalism; excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Professional appearance as outlined in the Gilley’s Team Member Handbook
• Must be able to work both independently and as a member of a team
• Available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
