Job summary

Team One Chevrolet Buick GMC Truck in Michigan is seeking an experienced Automobile Salesperson to join our team. You will sell and lease new and used vehicles, aiming to deliver dealership standards for profit, volume, and customer satisfaction.

You will greet customers, explain features, arrange test drives, and guide the purchasing process through delivery and paperwork, with ongoing training and generous earning potential through commissions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Previous automotive dealership experience preferred, but training provided.
• Professional appearance and valid driver's license.
• High-energy, positive, outgoing with strong verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Sells/leases and delivers a minimum of 10 units per month.
• Greet customers entering showroom or sales lot and offer assistance.
• Explain product performance, benefits, and optional equipment to customers.
• Arrange test drives and obtain proper identification prior to test drive.
• Prepare sales orders and paperwork according to dealership policies.
• Deliver vehicles and explain operating features, warranty, and paperwork.
• Follow up on post-delivery items to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain an owner follow-up system to encourage repeat business.
