Job summary

Kaizen Collision Center in Frederick, Colorado is seeking an experienced Collision Repair Estimator. This role emphasizes not only writing estimates but selling the repair, building trust, and guiding the process from check-in to final delivery.

The ideal candidate will have proven estimating experience, strong sales and customer communication skills, and the ability to convert estimates into repair opportunities. High-volume shop experience and certification are a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous collision repair estimating experience is required.
• We want an estimator who can sell and move repairs through the shop.
• Strong knowledge of damage analysis and blueprinting.
• Experience writing supplements and handling insurance claims.
• Knowledge of DRP processes and insurance procedures.
• Understanding of OEM repair procedures.
• Experience with CCC ONE or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Convert estimates and opportunities into scheduled repairs.
• Build strong relationships with customers from the first conversation.
• Write complete and accurate repair plans.
• Perform detailed vehicle inspections and damage analysis.
• Blueprint repairs and identify hidden damage.
• Prepare and manage supplements.
• Communicate with insurance companies and adjusters.
• Explain repair recommendations and procedures to customers.
• Provide timely and professional repair updates.
• Coordinate with technicians, painters, parts personnel, and production teams.
• Monitor repairs and address delays.
• Maintain accurate documentation throughout the repair process.
• Help drive sales, production, cycle time, quality, and customer satisfaction.
