Job summary

Capitol Chevrolet, a Sonic Automotive family dealership, seeks a Service Advisor to schedule service work and promote additional needed services. The role emphasizes customer interaction, accurate estimates, and timely updates to customers.

Ideal candidates will have dealership experience, strong communication skills, and ASE certification preferred. We offer training, competitive compensation with OTE $50,000–$100,000+, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• Two years of experience in a dealership position.
• ASE certification preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.

Responsibilities

• Schedules service appointments and collects customer and vehicle data.
• Greets customers in a timely, friendly manner.
• Provides a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts.
• Monitors progress and updates customers on changes to estimates or promised times.
• Test-drives the vehicle or refers to the test technician as needed.
• Maintain customer satisfaction index at or above the dealer/manufacturer standards.
• Advise customers on vehicle care and maintenance per manufacturer specifications.
• Adhere to hours-per-CO written targets and safety regulations.
• Follow all safety policies and report incidents promptly.
