Ultra I&C is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to architect and certify high-assurance cryptographic systems for DoD and allied partners. The role emphasizes secure embedded design, Rust adoption in constrained environments, and NSA HA certification work.

You will develop C and Rust firmware, support NSA High Assurance processes, and collaborate with systems, hardware, security, and test teams on certification artifacts and fielded systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded software in C and Rust for cryptographic platforms
• Architect cryptographic IA software with defined security boundaries
• Support NSA High Assurance certification processes and artifacts
• Migrate legacy C to Rust for constrained environments
• Collaborate with systems, hardware, security, and test teams on certification and fielded systems
