Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System is seeking an experienced RN for high-acuity care. The role involves delivering patient-centered nursing across multiple units and floating to Emergency Department, Cardiovascular Surgery, Cardiac Telemetry, PCU and ICU as needed.

The position requires a minimum of 2 years in a high-acuity setting, BSN preferred, and Nebraska RN licensure with BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. Night schedule includes every third weekend as described in the posting.

Qualifications

• Requires 2+ years of RN experience in high-acuity settings.
• Nursing license valid in Nebraska or a compact state.
• BSN degree preferred/required by role.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS per policy and unit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care across high-acuity units as assigned.
• Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized plans of care.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Ensure accurate shift reports and patient documentation.
