Job summary

Incredible Health is actively hiring in the Chicago, IL area for a Registered Nurse - PCU / Stepdown. You will provide specialized care for medium to high acuity patients, monitor vitals, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Shift options include day, night, and mid; job types cover full-time, part-time, and per diem. Comprehensive benefits and strong patient care focus are offered by a Level 1 trauma center environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in nursing and active RN license.
• 1 year of stepdown/progressive, neurology or cardiac with high acuity preferred.
• Strong hemodynamic monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for medium to high acuity patients with vigilant monitoring.
• Administer medications and execute complex treatment plans accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers and others.
• Educate patients and families on management of acute or chronic conditions and devices.
• Maintain timely, accurate patient records per hospital policies.
