Job summary

ESP Associates, Inc. in Charlotte, NC seeks a HiCAMS / Office Technician to ensure all HiCAMS-related functions are compliant with contract agreements, standards and specifications.

The role handles HiCAMS and SAP data entry for project records, materials, and estimates, tracks DBE participation, and processes payroll and reporting in SAP while supporting budget reviews and FHWA compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Survey Technology or related field and 2+ years technician experience.
• Experience using HiCAMS to enter and track project data.
• Experience in Contract Administration including understanding Contracts, Plans, Standards, Specifications.
• Proficiency with computer equipment and software (HiCAMS, SharePoint, MS Office).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Must pass drug screen, background check, and MVR policy.

Responsibilities

• Enter HiCAMS and SAP data for project records, materials, and estimates.
• Track DBE participation and technician certifications.
• Process monthly and final estimates; resolve discrepancies.
• Enter project data into HiCAMS (pay records, MMRs, Supplemental Agreements).
• Create requisitions, administer payroll/time entry in SAP, generate reports in SAP, review budgets and contractor payrolls for FHWA compliance.
