Danfoss is seeking a 1st shift HIC Team Coordinator in Easley, SC. This production leadership role guides operators, tracks performance, and drives problem-solving. You’ll coordinate staffing and mentor teammates to improve efficiency on the line.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, adherence to Lean manufacturing concepts, and cross-functional collaboration with other coordinators to optimize production flow. This is a full-time, on-site position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Proficient in basic mathematics.
• Computer proficiency: SAP and Microsoft Office.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a fact-based approach.
• Capable of instructing co-workers in fundamental problem-solving techniques.

Responsibilities

• Guide Operators on job tasks and lead in a team setting.
• Track metrics and report deviations and participate in problem solving.
• Coordinate staffing and ensure clear day-to-day staffing communications.
• Work with other Team Coordinators to train staff and reduce non-value-added hours in production.
• Facilitate RCPS board meetings and close open items promptly.

The Impact You'll Make

We have an immediate opening for a 1st shift Team Coordinator for HIC line to join our diverse team in Easley, SC. The Team Coordinator is a production employee who assumes a leadership role within a work area. This position involves guiding Operators on job tasks, completing tracking metrics, reporting causes of deviations, and participating in problem-solving activities. The Team Coordinator will progressively lead and support production across all areas.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Understands and can explain the 8 types of Waste and 10 Lean Principles.
• Should motivate and support employees throughout the day keep teams informed of production expectations, scheduling, and any other follow-up information as needed.
• Ensure staffing assignments and gaps are communicated day to day.
• Work with other Team Coordinators to flex and train employees to reduce non-value-added hours in production.
• Facilitate RCPS board meetings and follow-up on open JDI and 4-Steps to resolve them and close in a timely fashion.
