Job summary

GlobalPoint HC in Hawaii is seeking an RN to join Medical, Laulima, and Cardiovascular units. Hawaii RN license required by start; immunization proof is required. BLS and ACLS are required; PALS/TNCC/ENPC are preferred. Shift is 12-hour nights, 36 hours per week after orientation.

You will float across units as needed, perform standard nursing duties, and maintain professional attire. Orientation is provided for each unit and shifts vary with patient needs.

Qualifications

• Active Hawaii RN license required by start of assignment
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS, TNCC, ENPC preferred
• Floating to Medical, Laulima, and Cardiovascular units
• 12-hour night shifts (1845–0715) with 36 hours per week after orientation
• Professional nursing attire required and orientation provided for each unit

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in medical/surgical and cardiovascular settings
• Float to multiple units as needed based on patient needs
• Maintain unit-specific protocols and documentation in EMR
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes

Medical and religious exemption requests will not be accepted in lieu of documented proof of immunity. General Job duties. Types of procedures required. Flex Rn Floats between various medical and surgical units Shift or schedule requirements. 12-hour shifts - Night (1845 to 0715) - Scheduled 36 hours per week following first week of orientation. No guarantee of hours. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. Meditech EMR; pyxis; wound vac; chest tubes. Required skills and minimum years of experience. 2-10 years experience Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. BLS, ACLS (Preferred: PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, ENPC) Floating to other units/departments. Medical Unit; Laulima Unit; Cardiovascular Unit (on rare occasions) Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept. Medical - 77; Laulima (surgical Acute) - 18; Cardiovascular Unit - 15 Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. Medical 1:6 for days and eves, 1:8 for nights Laulima 1:6 Cardiovascular 1:4 Ratio may vary due to unexpected leaves Dress Code.
