Srimatrix Health in Hawaii is seeking a flexible Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment across medical, surgical, and cardiovascular units. The role involves floating between units based on staffing needs and patient acuity to deliver high-quality patient care in a dynamic acute care environment.

The ideal candidate will have an active RN license, Hawaii lic by the start date, at least 2 years of recent acute care experience, and current BLS.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.

• Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Strong medical-surgical nursing skills.
• Ability to work effectively across multiple patient care settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult medical and surgical patients.
• Perform patient assessments, develop care plans, and monitor clinical progress.
• Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders.
• Manage and monitor patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record system.
• Utilize critical thinking and sound clinical judgment to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes.

Shift: Days (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM)

Schedule: 36 Hours Per Week

This position provides the opportunity to work across multiple medical, surgical, and cardiovascular units while delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic acute care environment. The ideal candidate is adaptable, clinically strong, and comfortable floating between units based on staffing needs and patient acuity.
