Job summary

SriMatrix Health is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in Hawaii. The flex pool role covers multiple medical, surgical, and cardiovascular units with night shifts and a 36-hour week schedule. Flexibility to float between units based on staffing needs is required.

The ideal candidate has an active RN license, Hawaii RN license by start date, and at least 2 years of acute care experience, plus BLS. ACLS/PALS and other certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

Shift: Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Flex Pool Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment. This position offers the opportunity to work across multiple medical, surgical, and cardiovascular units, providing comprehensive patient care while utilizing a broad range of clinical skills. The ideal candidate is adaptable, clinically strong, and comfortable floating between units based on patient care needs and staffing requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult medical and surgical patients.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in clinical status.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to provider orders.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Utilize critical thinking and clinical judgment in a variety of patient care settings.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record system.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
