Job summary

GlobalPoint HC in Hawaii seeks an experienced registered nurse for 12-hour shifts across medical/surgical and step-down units. Must hold Hawaii nursing license by start and be able to float to related units as needed.

The role involves caring for adult patients with varying acuity, maintaining patient safety, and following unit protocols. Orientation is provided; typical nurse to patient ratios are 1:6 days, 1:8 nights.

Job description

Flex Rn Floats between various medical and surgical units Shift or schedule requirements. 12-hour shifts - Days (0645 to 1915) - Scheduled 36 hours per week following first week of orientation. No guarantee of hours. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. Meditech EMR; pyxis; wound vac; chest tubes. Required skills and minimum years of experience. 2-10 years experience Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. BLS, ACLS (Preferred: PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, ENPC) Floating to other units/departments. Medical Unit; Laulima Unit; Cardiovascular Unit (on rare occasions) Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept. Medical - 77; Laulima (surgical Acute) - 18; Cardiovascular Unit - 15 Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. Medical 1:6 for days and eves, 1:8 for nights Laulima 1:6 Cardiovascular 1:4 Ratio may vary due to unexpected leaves Dress Code.
