Job summary

AKAM is seeking a Portfolio Manager to oversee a portfolio of 5–7 properties, ensuring well‑maintained communities, strong financial performance, and high resident satisfaction. The role requires excellent communication, financial acumen, and solid property management knowledge.

You will manage day‑to‑day operations, inspections, budgets, and vendor coordination, and you will collaborate with the board to provide regular updates and strategic guidance.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of proven property management experience in hi-rise residential & HOA settings.
• Licensed CAM required.
• Proficiency with property management software such as Yardi, Building Link, Avid, Smartweb and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of 5–7 properties, ensuring maintenance and resident satisfaction.
• Prepare budgets, review invoices, and generate financial reports for owners and senior management.
• Coordinate inspections, vendor management, and capital improvement projects.
• Collaborate with boards, provide updates, and manage lease administration and compliance.
