Job summary

Aptiv Interconnect in Dayville, CT is hiring a Hi-Pot / Respool Operator for the first shift (8:00 am – 4:00 pm). You will operate hi-pot and respool equipment, record quality data, and ensure reels are properly packaged and labeled for shipment.

The role demands attention to manufacturing specifications and teamwork on the production floor. Qualifications include strong mechanical aptitude, familiarity with in-process testing, and the ability to work overtime.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn multiple machines.
• Knowledge of in-process testing procedures in manufacturing.
• Excellent time management to meet production demands.
• Extremely detail oriented and accurate in data recording.
• Team oriented with willingness to work overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate hi-pot and respool equipment to verify product quality.
• Record all relevant quality data and monitor deviations.
• Package and label reels for final shipment to customers.
• Follow safety rules and report unsafe conditions immediately.
• Maintain professional, collaborative communications on the production floor.
