Job summary

Aptiv Interconnect is seeking a Multi Cell Operator for the 2nd shift (4:00 pm – 12:00 am) in Dayville, CT. The role covers operating and learning equipment across jacket cells, including shielders, twinners, tape wrappers, and respooling devices to meet order demands.

Ideal candidates will have strong mechanical aptitude, micrometer use, and solid time-management skills, with the ability to work under minimal supervision and follow safety rules.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn and operate multiple machines.
• Proficient in using a micrometer.
• Knowledgeable with in-process testing procedures for manufacturing.
• Excellent time management skills to meet production demands efficiently.
• Follow all safety rules and report unsafe situations or equipment immediately.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Strong communication and people skills required.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
