Right at Home Greater Jax is seeking compassionate CNAs and HHAs to provide in-home care in Jacksonville, FL. The role includes personal care, mobility assistance, meal prep, light housekeeping, and companionship under the supervision of a care team.

Ideal candidates hold a CNA license or HHA certificate, have a valid driver license, and are able to obtain a Level 2 background check. Training, mileage reimbursement, and flexible scheduling are offered to staff.

Qualifikationen

• CNA license or HHA certificate is required.
• Valid Driver License or State Photo ID is required.
• Second form of ID (SSN, Passport, Voter's Registration, etc.)
• CPR certification (in-person, not online)
• TB or Chest X-ray clearance
• Level 2 Fingerprint Background check
• Alzheimer's, HIV and medications CEUs are preferred
• 1 letter of recommendation may be requested

Aufgaben

• Performs personal care activities to assist with activities of daily living (hygiene, ambulation/transfers, dressing/shaving).
• Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions; accompanies patient to errands or medical appointments.
• Performs housekeeping tasks (vacuuming, dusting, mopping, dishes, laundry, changing bed linens, bathroom cleaning).
• Supports hospice-related care and medication reminders; assists with exercises and mobility.
• Assists with incontinence care and uses lifting equipment like gait belts or Hoyer lifts.

Essential Functions:

• Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living. These could include (but are not limited to):

  • Personal Hygiene

  • Ambulation/Transfers

  • Dressing/Shaving

  • Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions

  • Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments

• Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathroom

• Performs patient-specific activities. These could include (but are not limited to):

• Providing hospice supportive care

  • Medication reminders

  • Assisting with exercises

  • Incontinence care

  • Use lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts

Preferred Experience in:

• Hoyer lift

Requirements:
