Job summary

ModivCare in Tarrytown, NY is seeking a Spanish-speaking caregiver (PCA or HHA) to provide one-on-one in-home care. Earn $19.86/hr plus rewards; flexible shifts include weekdays or weekends. A valid NYS PCA or HHA certification and Spanish fluency are required or preferred.

Responsibilities include companionship, daily living support, medication reminders, and maintaining a clean, safe home environment. Transportation and reliability are essential to join our team.

Qualifications

• Valid NYS Personal Care Aide or Home Health Aide Certification required.
• Must be willing to work in Tarrytown, NY.
• Must be willing to work with bedbound clients.
• Fluent in Spanish, bilingual preferred.
• Availability to work weekdays or weekends, 8am-8pm or 8pm-8am.
• Reliable Transportation.

Responsibilities

• Bring comfort and companionship to clients in their homes.
• Frequent standing and walking; assisting with daily activities (dressing, bathing, meals); bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and occasional lifting or supporting individuals.
• Keep living spaces clean, safe, and welcoming.
• Offer medication reminders and support healthy routines.
• Communicate concerns and elevate safety issues as needed.
