Job summary

ModivCare is seeking a Spanish-speaking Caregiver (PCA or HHA) in Port Chester, NY. You will provide one-on-one home care, offering companionship and assistance with daily activities to patients in their own homes.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Spanish; bilingual preferred.
• Valid NYS Personal Care Aide or Home Health Aide certification required.
• Willing to work in Port Chester, NY.
• Available for weekdays or weekends, 8am-8pm or 8pm-8am.
• Reliable transportation to and from client homes.

Responsibilities

• Provide comfort and companionship to clients in their homes.
• Assist with daily activities (dressing, bathing, meals) and safety.

• Frequent standing and walking; assisting members with daily activities (dressing, bathing, and meals); bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and occasional lifting or supporting individuals
• Keep living spaces clean, safe, and welcoming
• Offer medication reminders and support healthy routines
• Communicate concerns and escalatesafety issues as needed
