Job summary

ModivCare in Riverhead, NY seeks compassionate PCA & HHA caregivers to provide one-on-one in-home care, bringing comfort and companionship to clients in their homes.

You will assist with daily activities, ensure safe living spaces, and provide medication reminders while maintaining a trustworthy and reliable presence. The role supports flexible schedules, including weekends, with ongoing paid training and rewards program.

Qualifications

• Willing to work in Riverhead, NY.
• Active NYS PCA or HHA Certification REQUIRED.
• Availability to work weekdays and/or weekends, 8am-6pm.
• Reliable transportation.
• Compassionate and trustworthy.

Responsibilities

Your Role as a Caregiver:

• Bring comfort and companionship to clients in their homes
• Frequent standing and walking; assisting members with daily activities (dressing, bathing, and meals); bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and occasional lifting or supporting individuals
• Keep living spaces clean, safe, and welcoming
• Offer medication reminders and support healthy routines
