Job summary

A home care service provider in New York is seeking a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). This position provides custodial and personal care services to clients, with guidance from a Registered Nurse. Candidates must have relevant certifications and experience. Description: This position provides custodial and personal care services to clients that contract with Assisting Hands for services under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) and in compliance with the Plan of Care designated by the RN.

Education: Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant

Qualifications: Individual must have successfully completed and provide evidence of formal home health aide training or certification as a Nursing Assistant per state law and regulation. One (1) year experience in the home or long‑term care setting is preferred.

Requirements: CPR Certification Card, TB Test, CEU's and Level 2 live‑scan criminal background check.

Reports to: Director of Nursing

Duties Include:

Hours: Dependent on assignment. Assisting Hands does not guarantee hours.
