Overview

HHA/ CNA - Spanish Language is a Plus! Pompano, FL. This is a future opening for a Home Health Aide / Certified Nursing Assistant role under Assisting Hands Home Care.

Description: This position provides custodial and personal care services to clients that contract with Assisting Hands for services under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) and in compliance with the Plan of Care designated by the RN.

Education: Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant

Qualifications

Individual must have successfully completed and provide evidence of formal home health aide training or certification as a Nursing Assistant per state law and regulation. One (1) year experience in the home or long-term care setting is preferred.

Requirements

CPR Certification Card, TB Test, CEUs and Level 2 live-scan criminal background check.

Reports to

Director of Nursing

Duties

Companionship, cooking, light housekeeping, and assistance with transportation, errands, and personal care.

Hours

Dependent on assignment. Assisting Hands does not guarantee hours. Schedule Hours: Mon - Fri 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM; Saturday 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Total 30 hours weekly.
