The role focuses on providing custodial and personal care services under the guidance of a Registered Nurse (RN). Ideal candidates will have completed home health aide training, possess CPR certification, and have at least one year of experience in a home or long-term care setting. Flexible schedules and reimbursement for travel time are provided.

Qualifications

Successful completion of home health aide training or Nursing Assistant certification.
One year of experience in home or long-term care setting preferred.
CPR Certification Card, TB Test, CEUs, and Level 2 live-scan background check required.

Responsibilities

Provide custodial and personal care services under RN direction.
Assist clients with companionship, cooking, light housekeeping, and errands.
Follow the Plan of Care designated by the RN.

Description:This position provides custodial and personal care services to clients that contract with Assisting Hands for services under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) and in compliance with the Plan of Care designated by the RN.

Education:Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant

Qualifications:Individual must have successfully completed and provide evidence of formal home health aide training or certification as a Nursing Assistant per state law and regulation. One (1) year experience in the home or long-term care setting is preferred.

Requirements:CPR Certification Card, TB Test, CEU's and Level 2 live-scan criminal background check.

Reports to:Director of Nursing

Duties Include:Companionship, cooking, light housekeeping, and assistance with transportation, errands, and personal care.

Hours: Dependent on assignment. Assisting Hands does not guarantee hours.
