Benchmark Senior Living in New York is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to deliver care in a warm, home-like environment. You will support residents with daily activities, ensure dignity, and help residents feel at home.

You will document care, report changes to staff, and engage residents in meaningful activities while providing emotional support. Additional duties may be required.

Competenze

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required.
• Prior experience in skilled nursing or assisted living preferred but not required.
• Experience with residents with dementia is desirable.

Mansioni

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Document care provided and report health or behavior changes to staff.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.

CNA Duties & Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired
