Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to deliver care in a home-like environment. You will assist residents with daily activities, document care, and report changes to staff, while providing emotional support and engaging residents in meaningful activities.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required.
• Experience working with residents with dementia is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Document care and report changes in health or behavior to staff.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
• Use customer service skills to ensure high-quality, meaningful care.

We are looking for a compassionate CNA to join our team! As a Certified Nursing Assistant, your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.

CNA Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired
