Job summary

Right at Home Palm Beach is hiring compassionate CNAs and HHAs for Lake Worth, Florida. The role involves providing personal care, mobility assistance, medication reminders, meal prep, light housekeeping, and companionship to clients in their homes.

We offer flexible scheduling, paid training, overtime and holiday pay, mileage reimbursement, and direct deposit. A Level 2 background check and Palm Beach County badge for HHAs are required, along with a valid driver’s license and ID.

Qualifications

• CNA license or HHA certificate is required.
• Palm Beach County badge (HHAs) required.
• Valid Driver License or State Photo ID.
• Second form of ID (SSN, Passport, etc.).
• CPR certification required; in-person class preferred.
• TB or Chest X-ray clearance.
• Level 2 Fingerprint Background check required.
• Alzheimer's, HIV, and medication CEU preferred.
• 1 letter of recommendation.

Responsibilities

• Performs personal care activities to assist patients with activities of daily living (e.g., personal hygiene).
• Ambulation/transfers and dressing/shaving assistance.
• Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions.
• Accompanies patient to appointments.
• Performs housekeeping duties (vacuuming, dishes, laundry, linens, bathroom).
• Provide hospice supportive care and medication reminders.
• Assist with exercises and mobility.
• Incontinence care.
• Use lifting equipment (gait belts, Hoyer lifts).

Essential Functions

• Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living. These could include (but are not limited to):

Requirements

• CNA license or HHA Certificate (HHAs - Must have badge from Palm Beach County - no exceptions!)
• Valid Driver License or State Photo ID

• CPR Card (cannot be an online class)
