Right at Home Palm Beach is hiring compassionate CNAs and HHAs to provide in-home care in Lake Worth, FL. You will assist with daily living activities, prepare meals, accompany patients to appointments, and perform light housekeeping.

Requirements include a CNA license or HHA certificate with Palm Beach County badge, valid ID, Level 2 background check, CPR, and TB/Chest X-ray. Travel between clients is paid and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have CNA license or HHA certificate (Palm Beach County badge required).
• Valid driver's license or state photo ID.
• Background check Level 2 required.
• CPR certification required (in-person).
• TB or Chest X-ray completed.

Responsabilités

Essential Functions:

• Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living. These could include (but are not limited to): Personal Hygiene
• Ambulation/Transfers
• Dressing/Shaving
• Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions
• Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments
• Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathroom
• Performs patient-specific activities. These could include (but are not limited to): Providing hospice supportive care
• Medication reminders
• Assisting with exercises
• Incontinence care
• Use lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts

Preferred Experience in:

• Hoyer lift
• Personal care
• Range of Motion Exercises
• Companionship
• Light cleaning

Requirements:

• CNA license or HHA Certificate (HHAs - Must have badge from Palm Beach County - no exceptions!)
• Valid Driver License or State Photo ID
• Second form of ID (SSN, Passport, Voter's Registration, etc.)
• Auto Insurance
• Vehicle Registration
• CPR Card (cannot be an online class)
• TB or Chest X-ray
• Level 2 Fingerprint Background check
• Alzheimer's, HIV, and Assisting with medications CEU
• 1 letter of recommendation
