Job summary

Right at Home Palm Beach is hiring compassionate, reliable CNAs and HHAs to provide in-home care in Lake Worth, Florida. This role focuses on personal care, mobility assistance, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and attending medical appointments.

Qualifications

• CNA license or HHA certificate required.
• CPR certification required.
• Excellent patient care and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living.
• Ambulation/Transfers
• Dressing/Shaving
• Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions
• Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments
• Performs housekeeping activities such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, dishes, changing bed linens, laundry and bathroom cleaning
• Provides hospice supportive care as needed
• Medication reminders
• Assists with exercises
• Incontinence care
• Use lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts

Essential Functions:

Requirements:

• CNA license or HHA Certificate (HHAs - Must have badge from Palm Beach County - no exceptions!)
• Valid Driver License or State Photo ID
• Second form of ID (SSN, Passport, Voter's Registration, etc.)
• Auto Insurance

• CPR Card (cannot be an online class)
• TB or Chest X-ray
• Level 2 Fingerprint Background check
• Alzheimer's, HIV, and Assisting with medications CEU
