Right at Home Miami Metro, FL is seeking compassionate CNAs and HHAs to provide in-home care in Lake Worth, Florida. Responsibilities include personal care, mobility assistance, meal prep, light housekeeping, and transportation support for medical appointments. A Level 2 background check, CPR, and proper certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Must have CNA license or HHA certificate (HHAs - Palm Beach County badge required).
• Level 2 fingerprint background check is required.
• CPR certificate is required (not online).
• TB or Chest X-ray documentation required.
• Valid driver license or state photo ID; secondary ID (SSN, passport, etc.) may be needed.
• Auto insurance and vehicle registration are required.
• 1 letter of recommendation requested.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care activities to assist patients with daily living (hygiene, ambulation, dressing, meals, appointments).
• Perform housekeeping tasks (vacuuming, cleaning, laundry, dishes, linens).
• Support hospice and medication reminders; assist with exercises and use of lifting equipment as needed.

Essential Functions:

• Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living. These could include (but are not limited to):
  • Personal Hygiene
  • Ambulation/Transfers
  • Dressing/Shaving
  • Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions
  • Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments
• Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathroom
• Performs patient-specific activities. These could include (but are not limited to):
• Providing hospice supportive care
  • Medication reminders
  • Assisting with exercises
  • Incontinence care
  • Use lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts

Preferred Experience in:

Requirements:

• CNA license or HHA Certificate (HHAs - Must have badge from Palm Beach County - no exceptions!)
