Job summary

Nuclear Care Partners in Escondido, CA is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to provide one-on-one in-home care for individuals connected to DOE or Nuclear Energy programs. You will support daily living activities, offer companionship, and help maintain independence in a patient’s home.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, CPR certification, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• CPR certification required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently in a non-facility setting.
• Home health, long-term care, or hospice experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility).
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and social engagement.
• Support meal preparation, nutrition support and light housekeeping.
• Monitor and report changes in condition.
• Follow care plans and document accurately using EMR standards.

As a HHA, you'll play a vital role in supporting our patients' quality of life through consistent, one-on-one, relationship-based care in their homes. Compensation:

$21.00 - $24.50

Compensation is based on experience, shift type, and market factors. The range reflects entry-level to highly experienced applicants.
