Amedisys, Inc. is seeking a dedicated registered nurse to provide home health care across assigned patients and partners with care teams to ensure optimal outcomes. You will educate families, perform assessments, and manage treatments in a home setting.

The role emphasizes clinical documentation, patient safety, and coordinating with physicians to adjust plans as needed, with growth opportunities through supportive leadership and training.

Qualifications

• One year of clinical RN experience; if less than 1 year, approval by VP clinical required.

Qualifications

• One year of clinical experience as a registered nurse (RN). If less than 1 year clinical experience as a RN, candidate must be approved by VP clinical.*


• Current RN license, specific to the state(s) you are assigned to work.


• Minimum six months home health experience.


• Current CPR certification.


• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and liability insurance.


• Able to assess patient status and identify requirements relative to age specific needs.


• Must be familiar with general use and functions of the computer, such as, user names and password concepts; internet; e-mail; navigation of computer desktop, including starting programs, using files and windows, effectively use navigation buttons and tool bars; ability to self-manage online HR services and online training programs.

*Note - If less than 6 months clinical experience as a RN, candidate must participate in RN Intern program.
