Job summary

Amentum in the United States is seeking an experienced aircraft maintenance technician to perform advanced electrical and avionics troubleshooting on H-60 and S-70 aircraft. The role requires circuit analysis, interpretation of technical data, and use of specialized test equipment.

You will guide maintenance teams, ensure quality and safety, and assist with parts research, scheduling, and compliance with procedures. A Secret clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Must possess working knowledge of aircraft electronic and avionic systems and be able to read technical data.
• Experience with wiring diagrams, schematics and test procedures is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance and required licenses.

Responsibilities

• Apply advanced electrical knowledge to solve complex aircraft problems on H-60/S-70 platforms.
• Perform circuit analysis, trace signal flow, and implement engineering changes.
• Operate test equipment and provide direction to assigned personnel in maintenance tasks.
• Research and requisition parts, monitor aircraft status, and coordinate workloads.
• Ensure quality assurance and compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
