Job summary

Enva in Linwood is seeking a HGV RORO Driver to join our transport team. Working a 4 on 4 off dayshift from 6am to 6pm, you will operate assigned vehicles on designated routes with safety and professional customer service in mind.

Responsibilities include pre-start inspections, reporting incidents, waste transportation, and ensuring duty of care compliance. The role requires a proactive, self-motivated individual with CPC and LGV licensing.

Qualifications

• Class 2 LGV driving licence required.
• Driver CPC qualification required.

Responsibilities

Description

We are recruiting a HGV Roro Driver to join our team in Linwood you will be working a dayshift from 6am to 6pm based on 4on and 4 off.

In this role you will safely and competently operate assigned vehicles on allocated routes in a timely, professional and customer focused manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Report any safety concerns, hazard observations, accidents and incidents in a timely manner to allow full investigation and prevent re-occurrence.
• Complete daily pre-start vehicle inspections and submit to Transport dept.
• Report all accidents, vehicle defects, breakdowns.
• Waste Transportation: Operate HGV vehicles to collect, transport, and deliver waste materials between designated locations.
• Ensuring compliance with Duty of Care regulations by inspecting waste and completing waste transfer notes, sheeting all loads to ensure secure transit of waste on the public highway.
• The completion of relevant tickets or the use of the handheld device (As appropriate), detailing the necessary information and obtaining a customer signature.
• Ensure that health, safety and welfare standards are maintained in accordance with the Company's safety policy, Risk Assessments, Safe Working Procedures and Instructions.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the driving cab.
• Assist in the control and co-ordination of work to ensure efficiency and productivity.
• Ensure the delivery of excellent customer service.
