Job summary

Enva Recycling Scotland is seeking a Class 2 Trade Driver to join the Irvine depot on a permanent full-time basis. Working 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 4am to 2pm with overtime eligibility.

You will safely operate assigned vehicles on routes, maintaining a high level of customer service and compliance with transport regulations. Requirements include a full Class 2 licence, DCPC, and a valid Digital Tachograph.

Qualifications

• Hold a full UK (Class 2) driving licence and DCPC.
• Hold a valid Digital Tachograph and operate vehicles safely and legally.
• Demonstrate professional and organised approach with good time management.
• Display initiative and willingness to perform a range of duties to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily vehicle checks and report defects to ensure roadworthiness.
• Collect waste from allocated customers on scheduled routes.
• Comply with driver hours, highway regulations, and safety procedures.
• Maintain driver/vehicle records and company paperwork.
• Ensure vehicle security and proper use of equipment and plant.
• Provide customers with high levels of service and professionalism.

Enva Recycling Scotland is hiring a Class 2 Trade Driver to join the Irvine depot in a permanent basis.

Working 45h a week, Monday - Friday, 4am to 2pm with eligibility for overtime

In this role, you will safely and competently operate assigned vehicles on allocated routes in a timely, professional and customer focused manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects ensuring that your vehicle is roadworthy and presentable to Company standards
• Collect all waste from allocated customers
• Comply with all legislation including driver’s hours and highway regulations
• Hold a duty of care to self & others
• Ensure vehicle security including equipment & plant
• Maintain of mandatory driver/vehicle records
• Provide customers with the highest level of service

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Hold full Class 2 driving licence
• Hold valid DCPC
• Hold valid Digital Tachograph
• Display professional and organised approach
